Beep Beep

Just came back from my driving lesson. It was an ok one today, practiced lane changes, 3-point turns and curb side stops. No major difficulties. As usual my driving instructor chats to me, I guess it helps loosen me up so I dont worry so much about the driving and just go with the car. Earlier in the drive he tells me that he was tired and hungry, I just nodded and let him talk while I drove. So I had been doing a few reverse parking, just you know to get it down, dont want any mistakes popping up during my test in two months. So I finish my (presumed) last reverse park before I have to go home, and he has just taken out his LUNCH, and so I got a lil distracted, only because he wipped it out just as I was looking back, so as I turned, I caught a glimpse of his food (rice with eggs, I think). He asked "do you want to do another one?" I didnt hear him and thought he said "did you want one?" I totally looked at his food (for like a millisecond) and then realised ooooooooh! reverse parking! "sure I'll do another". Yeah...

Had to pick up a girl, who would then drive me home. You can always tell when they've only had like one lesson; They move too fast out of the curb, they dont turn back quick enough when moving out of the curb, they accelerate when turning, they break when doing lane changes and so on... This one was definately one of them. She was quite chatty too, said hi to me when I got out of the drivers seat so she could drive me home. Asked me how old I was because apparently I looked too young to be driving (she's from vietnam, she thinks 18 is young to be having a drivers license, dont ask me why.), spoke in viet to my instructor like I didnt understand (not about me though), my instructor told her that I did in fact understand vietnamese, she turns back and asks "do you?" and I said "yeah" *smiling*. Anyways, she drove me home, I didnt say anything, I just sat there quietly judging her, (no. I'm kidding I dont do that, too much brain straining). Though I did notice she was driving and turning quite fast with lack of control (not dangerously, but the instructor was worried and told her to slow down a bit more) I may or may not have been freaking out a lil, it was suppose to be only a 15min drive back home, but the instructor used the opportunity to teach her lane changes and stuff, so there was a delay. I was so glad when I got home, glad to be out of the car! My instructor turns to me while I unbuckled my seatbelt and asked jokingly "were you scared?" I gave a forced smile and said "heh..it was alright..." :S he laughed, I know that was a bit rude of me, it kinda just slipped out. oops. Well thats one more hour added to my driving experience.

oh yeah my brother called me while I was out (not while I was driving obviously, it's illegal, and I'd like to drive a car on me own at least once). He couldnt find the AAA batteries I bought yesterday, ( he told me they were for school, so I had to go to 7/11 to buy it! darn expensive it was! I didnt have time to go to Franklins, my bus was coming. but then...it was a whole 20mins late anyways! and now I find out that he needed 3 not 2!) *eye rolling* said he was hungry and blah blah blah. honestly where would he be without me?
