Australia vs South Africa

Watched cricket yesterday *gasp* actual live cricket - sitting in the sun for 7hours - eating hot dogs - cricket. I dont understand the game and i still dont (so unAustralian :P). Frenchie (he took me to the game) tried to explain during the day (nice try^^) but nothing.

Met early in the morning so we could walk to the SCG and buy tix at the gate. I was extremely nervous as we had not bought tix the day before (and it was my fault) and I didnt want to disappoint Frenchie anymore. We finally get tix after some delay (one being we both had no a cash on us and they only accepted cash or credit, so there started our quest for an ATM).

So watched cricket trying to get the game. The crowd wasnt helping me figure anything since they seemed to be cheering and "boo"ing at random times, so what the heck? One guy was just shouting at the cricketers which was half funny and half annoying (the guy was escorted out of the grounds later that day).

By the end of the day my face was completely red (and now in pain. Its what I get for not wearing sunscreen) and my left knee is sunburnt (it kills). But all in all good experience.

01.01.09

Another year has come and past (boy it was fast). One year out of High School, and the real world isnt too bad (me likey). 2008 has been experimenting, exploring and learning. It's been one heck of a year with many '1st's and mistakes I'm sure to make again and I'm looking towards what 2009 will bring with open arms (I'm excited).

Wishing everyone one fracking Happy New Year!
