What a Wonderful Thing Life Is

Check out what I noticed coming home. There are two little shrubs growing out of my roof gutters, amazing isnt it? Then come to think of it, with all the rain and the gutters pretty much blocked up with fallen leaves, and that turning into compost it isnt that much of a shock, but amazing all the same. Such a nice healthy shade of green too. Well guess it's time to clear those gutters now.

I Was Not Made For Walking on Ice.

Ice Skating today with the girls (after the morning I had, I was looking forward to having some fun). I did not fall today nor did I actually skate, (I did "shuffle" though as Jenn tells me, so go me!). I clung to the walls most of the time with Annie (who couldnt skate neither), children as young as 5 were whizing past us (I felt so pathetic) and also falling constantly infront of me while I was trying to cross the ice rink with Jenn as my aid (was not helping me with the fear of falling on my backside, at all!).

Some photos from the day.

5. These were my 4th pair of Ice skating shoes. The first one was too big (there were kids heaps younger than me who wore size 5 skates, I have such tiny feet!) and the 2nd and 3rd were just plain uncomfortable. The girl sure was getting annoyed at me for exchanging them, but I PAID for a GOOD time

I had a fun time today,Lots of laughing, lots of shouting, lots of nearly falling, lots of love. Made me forget about the horrible morning I had. It's always great hanging with with my friends. But my legs are totally feeling the pain right now!

I Knew I Should Not Have Gotten Out of Bed This Morning

This really isnt my morning! Firstly I had less than 4 hours sleep. I wash my hair and find out my mum washed all the towels! (not only was my morning mucus/snot fest bad enough, I have wet dripping hair to add to the hell). I had to resort to asking my step dad to drive me to the cinema, which when I got there was CLOSED! I had to stand in the heat waiting for it to open. Went in and thought my luck was getting better when they did find my wallet! But then I open it up and my money is missing! Bastards! (what? some sort of reward for finding my wallet? I need that money!). Next train to Jenn's house, went down to the train station to find out that there was 15mins til my train came. Having another train stand idly by tormenting me! Then I realise that I wasnt even on the right platform! There was another 20mins on top of the already 10mins waiting on the wrong platform! Hell! I just feel like screaming at the top of my lungs right now, but there are too many people already staring at me thinking Im sending the longest txt message ever as Im sitting here on the train to Jenn's house, blogging on my phone. Well im here. Must go and see a much needed friend.
If it wasnt for The Rocket Summer I think I may have gone insane! Thankgoodness for mp3 players!

***Outside the Cinema***

***Me waiting outside the cinema***
***This was the train that was already at the platform, with it's doors open TORMENTING me!***

I Am Screwed!

Its 3.30 in the morning, I'm suppose to be here sleeping not lying here PANICING and writing this blog via my mobile in the darkness of my room! I was packing my bag for the lil outing with the girls today, and to my dismay, I cant find my wallet!! *panicing* I swear I did not unpack my bag this afternoon when I got home. The last time I took my wallet out was when I had to buy the movie tickets. Ah! Everything is in that wallet! Money, my drivers license, medicare card,my key card, my brothers key card! Dammit! I hope my sister took it out my bag without me knowing and that its in this house and not at the cinemas! Fan-freakn-tastic! I have to wash my hair, get ready before my step dad arrives in the morning to take my sister to tutoring and maybe hitch a ride to the cinemas (I really REALLY HATE asking my step dad for favours, but its Sunday and there isnt a lot of buses and I'm desperate!). Get to the cinemas and hope that my wallet is there. Catch a train to Jenn's house and meet Annie & Milly at the ice rink.

I cant sleep! And there's still hours before anybody wakes up for me to question about the wherabouts of my wallet. I need my wallet! Why doesnt my wallet have a tracking device on it? Would be so much easier! I am seriously screwed without my wallet, especially for today!

You do not know how much I want to txt Jenn right now and tell her my crisis (I tell her everything) but even I know its too late and stupid to wake her up in the middle of the night for this. So I'm just going to lay here til the sun rises, banging my head into my pillow thinking of the worst case scenario. Dont tell me I'm overacting!

"In My World Everyone's a Pony and They All Eat Rainbows and Poop Butterflies!"

I saw Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who with my siblings today! I enjoyed the film. Anything that makes me smile is ace for me. I've kinda grown out of animations (I usually kinda fall alseep watching cartoons nowadays, only because the story lines are so cliche! With the morals and the bad guys always losing, yawn!), but I liked this one, maybe because Steve Carell & Seth Rogen are in it? I dont know, but I totally had fun watching this film. Plus I'm a fan of Dr.Seuss stories (I like the puppet series). Or maybe it was all the chocolates I ate? (hmmm)

While I was watching, I couldnt help but notice that JoJo totally reminds me of Dwayne from Little Miss Sunshine, with the whole Emo look and no-talking business.

I found out that the voice of JoJo was Jesse McCartney! I was kinda shocked, like what?! Explains why he could actually sing at the end (Oh yeah. there's singing at the end @@) (Oh crap! I think I just blew the ending!).

Fun Fun movie to watch, I love Morton who is voiced by Seth Rogen. Actually Seth's voice is just funny, period.

That's it from me today. Tomorrow, Ice Skating with the girls!-I'll probably come home with a wet Beeeeeehind and plenty of bruisies, cant wait! Peace.

Rain Rain Go Away

I finally (had the nerves) decided to get a haircut today. But what happens? I wake up and my sister has her friends over AGAIN (cant they not see each other for 24hrs?!), so I couldnt be bothered to go out, get a hair cut, come home and take my sister to tutoring after, bus fare was bad enough, plus to go back to the same place, I was not in the mood.

Started raining when I got out of the house (just my luck) stopped when I got on the bus (dammit). Started to POUR down when we left the shopping centre to get my sister to tutoring, I was getting soaked (so NOT fun). Oh before THAT, We were in the food court buying food (as I presume you would do in a Food Court) told my sis no more junk food, and got Pasta, T.N on the other hand, didnt want pasta, and the twit couldnt buy his own food (he's almost 18 for goodness sakes!). I was hungry, hadnt eaten since I got up (it was 4pm by then, I woke at 12pm today) so my food was sitting there getting cold while I was waiting in line at Maccas waiting to be served. honestly! The new Maccas, NOT FAST, was incredibly slow, I was standing in line for 15mins! that is bleeeding long! and I only wanted a medium Big Mac meal! argh, I was getting cranky, and my stomach was EATING ITSELF! I come back and my sister asks "why did you take so long?" because the service at McDonalds is Craptastic!

My sister has gotten her first pimple (wow), the pain was killing her, I merely laughed (I'm an evil sister) aparently she's had it for a while, believing it wasnt a pimple, oh how naiive. She's got her first pimple, you know whats next? (I know I am so gross). Told her not to eat so much JUNK, she should listen to me.

I bought a few more dvds today (I know, I know) and the guy put my brother's dvd into one bag and my dvds in another after I told him to look for a particular dvd I wanted. I gave my brother both bags to carry, I didnt notice when I looked before, I thought that T.N had put his dvds along with my one so that it would save room, but he was still carrying the other EzyDVD bag, so what was the point of that? though I didnt bother telling him. But later while waitng for my sister to come out of the shop with a new umbrella, that the dvd I saw along with my dvd was NOT my brother's dvd that he had bought, it was SOMEONE elses! and it was a wierd boring looking dvd too, I forget what it was called. It had the reciept sticky taped to it and everything. Was too late to go back and return it, my sister was already late for tutoring. Ok the guy should have just put the phone down or told me to wait instead of jumbling both jobs at once and now look, I have to go back on saturday and return it.

***My sister and I waiting at the bus stop in the rain. I need a haircut! and check out me sister's first pimple :)***

EDIT: ok you cant actually see her pimple, the picture is meant to go to its original size when you click on it, but it doesnt seem to be working. sorry.

I'm Back, Just Not With a Bang

So much for blogging "everyday"I have nothing to blog about, my life is a BORE! Not that anyone has noticed or cared, other than Jennifer who sent me an email about it.

I woke up at 2.19pm today after sleeping at 4am this morning. So not cool. I blew my whole day away, such a waste. (by the way, I dont go to bed at 4am because I WANT TO, it's because I cant get to sleep, got it? Good. and no, I am not suffering from Insomnia)

Went out today (didnt go far, was too late to go anywhere at the time I woke up, with all the travel time in between). Brother wanted to get out of the house (and here I thought he liked being cooped inside), so we went out, he bought some DVDs, we ate and then went home. So much FUN! not really.. Sister was at her friends house, I didnt know which one, luckily she called home and I told her me and T.N (my brother) where going out and asked her if she wanted to come along. I told her I'd be picking her up and want do you know? when I get there her friend tells me she just left 5minutes ago! dammit! she doesnt listen to me that girl. so had to walk all the way back up and then see her pixie friend pop her head around the corner of her street where tada! my sister is. *eye rolling* gave her the glare and off to the bus stop!

***I look just like that when I wake up, It's very ugly, I know. I should invest in Make-up. *outburst of laughter* yeah right! And I have a lump under my right eye for some reason, only found out last night, and it wasnt quite as big as it is now, it actually hurts a lil....***

***Sister with an umbrella looking kinda confused (no shocker there :P)***

***T.N looking all anti-social (no really, he looks like that all the time!)**
***I had to look down this path a bagillion times waiting for the bus to come (and I didnt notice until I got the photos on the computer that there was actually someone walking up in the far distance)***
***My Big Mac, totally looks like someone took a bite out of my meat patty (other than me, smarty pants!) but it's not, phew!***

***Sister enjoying her burger***

I bought Dragon Tiger Gate (not that cover) today for $4.95, Bargain I tells ya! I like this film and when I saw it today and how cheap it was, I had to have it! Felt like a lil action today, and some stylised fighting, should do the trick. I've seen the film before, though that quality was incredibly bad and unclear plus other than it was in chinese the subtitles were in CHINESE, so that was helpful (not). and Hallelujah! This one had ENGLISH subtitles. Score! good film, I liked it. The guys? eh not so much, not a head turner in the lot of them :P. The film was adapted from a comic, very cool. I liked it. Though the subtitles, ok the translations seemed a lil...erm..I dunno, kinda weird, who says "dude" in chinese? but then I get it, I can imagine what they meant, I've seen my fair share of Chinese Fighting Series in my day (has been a while though). All in all, cool film, I enjoyed it, especially the fight sequence at the end ;).
Well thats it from me today. Peace!

Do You Know The Muffin Man?

I made muffins today! Well actually in my case they're classified as huge cupcakes (it's a mud cake batter split into 12), but whatever. I was planning to do some experimenting with the decorations, but kinda wasnt in the mood after I found out my sister's friends were over (They do my head in!).So I gave up on the idea, and just baked cakes for the heck of it.

Munny Munny Munny!

Omogosh these things are only the neatest! and what people can create on this adorable little canvas is AMAZING! They're even a part of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, totally crazy.

What it desribes in Wikipedia,
"Munny is primarily a "Do-it-Yourself" type action figure which the owner can decorate using pens, pencils, markers, paint, and supposedly, ketchup. The action figure is made out of vinyl and has moveable joints. The first Munny action figure was white, and has since been available in other colors such as black, pink, and glow in the dark green. The figure is housed in a box which includes 4 random accessories that vary from a different series (1 through 4, 4 being the latest) and can be many things, such as a carrot or a hat. The doll also includes one out of a series of collectable coloring book which have been designed by a variety of people."

A few Munny Dolls I found off Google:

***A Buddha Munny and Dunny Monks***

***I found this funny***
***It's a Honey Munny!***

They have like exhibitions for these things around the world, where people can showcase their Munny dolls. There was a website were it sold the winning Munny Dolls from the shows and they were going for $300, like whoa!.

I would totally buy one if I were any good at art (I'd make a mini me, like Jesse from Motion City Soundtrack did) plus they're about $25 a pop, so they aint cheap.

Want to Make Me Happy?

Probably not...but whatever
I was flicking through Alternative Press magazine and in the gadget section was this Zune 80gb Multimedia player, I totally want it! It's pretty much perfect. (At last! something with all the ipod features that isnt an ipod!). Though I should go out to the shops and see what it looks like first hand before I start hoping and a wishing. My lil Creative Mp3 player is dying...the poor thing, it has served me well for this past year (shows how much I use it). Zune costs about $250, totally worth it with all its features. I want it! I want it! (A nice Happy 1st of May prezzie maybe? *eyelash battering*).

EDIT: Zune is a Microsoft product. The second generation of Zune (The one I want *wink wink*) came out late last year, so it's been out for a while now. Last thing, I'll never be able to afford it anytime soon. It's just a stupid materialistic thing that society creates and I sadly fall into its little manipulative claws! (The shame of it all).

I Know I Have a DVD Buying Problem. Step 1 is Acknowledging it.

Nothing much happened today and nothing really I'd like to share today. I'm actually quite tired..(shopping is tiring!).

Took sister to tutoring, before that hung around the shopping centre browsing for dvds (I cant help it, it's an addiction). I bought Bleach vol 6 for my brother (his money not mine, so I didnt care), also bought Unaccompanied Minors and Be Cool. I felt my sister should know what John Travolta looked like outside of the fat lady fat suit in Hairspray, I would have bought Pulp Fiction instead, but it felt somewhat inappropriate for a 10 year old to be watching (though neither is Be Cool, but whatever). EDIT: I did also want to watch Be Cool Not like I actually just bought it for the sake of my sister. LoL.

Also bought Charmed season 1. I actually wanted Season 8 but sister was going to watch it with me, and she hadnt seen season 1 seeing how it was first aired on television the year she was born! So yeah. But then it's good, I like Charmed, one of my favourite tv shows, and I cant exactly remember what happened then seeing how it's so old, so a lil catch up wont hurt. The box is in 3 seperate thin DVD cases, I dont like that..and the design of the cover doesnt seem to well thought out neither, seemed like they just used the "Gothic" font everywhere and figured it would work...

You know what I like about this show other than the obvious? The music they play during the beginning, when the camera pans over the San Francisco bridge. There's always a different song and I love each one every week. Though I'm not sure when they started doing that, because I've only noticed that from the last 3 or so seasons. I actually might go and find out now! or later...kinda still tired.

Totally Not What I Expected

Hung out with Jenn again today. This time to watch the adavnced screening of Forgetting Sarah Marshall staring Kristen Bell (who stars in my favourite tv show Veronica Mars!). Film was...not what I expected, I dont think I'll be watching it again anytime soon. We both thought this was a romantic comedy (what happens when you go watch a film you know nothing about) and it turns out to be totally different! I think if I knew it was from the creators of Knocked up and 40 Year Old Virgin beforehand I would have enjoyed this film a lil more because I would have known what to expect I guess. Though I agree with Jenn that it was funny(Just not as much as she found it funny). I liked Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill's characters though.

Some photos from the day. This was us wasting time before the film started 3+hours later!
***Jenn******My lasagne (which was filled with peas! yuck)*** ***My $10 note (which was to pay for our small maccas fries, which did not happen ) with a Mount Franklin bottle Cap on the top (wth?)****** Me and Jenn outside. (I'm wearing 4 layers, was darn cold it was!)***
***Jenn again***
***Inside the cinema, to my right***

We got there at 3-ish, movie started at 7-ish, finished at 9-ish, we got home at 11pm. Was a long night. Both our parents called us, we got totally worried that we were in trouble (even though I'm considered an adult, I'm still scared of my mummy) for being out so late, so we both kinda punished ourselves with the thoughts of what hell we would be facing when we got home, but turns out we got off nearly scratch free. Oh yeah! lifes good.
