Just another Friday night at Work

Just came home from work. Not a busy night unfortunately, So I spent a lot of time doing nothing. Darn weather and economy crisis....

Good news, I didnt cut myself today/tonight. One of the guys from work (who got a night off, first one in yonks) decided to pay the kitchen a visit. drunk. He denies he was drunk, but he was. Scared the crap out of me. He was worrying me, for one thing, he tried to sit on the sink (in my section) and slipped off it bringing a container (my ONLY container) of roast corn down with him *eye rolling*. Obviously he was happy having the night off, I was happy for him too but I was more concerned for his safety, there being open flames, hot ovens and sharp knives about. Though I know he'll forget the whole drama the next time I see him.

Also this Thai guy came by for a visit, he came by last night too. Came all the way from his home in Surry Hills to the City(which isnt far I know, but he WALKED at 9pm at night) just to see me about a lil problem he was having. Mind you I dont know him very well (met him twice in the 5 months I've been working at this job), yet he wanted my help (I was honoured). Sadly I couldnt help :(. He came back tonight, just because. He's a very cool/happy guy (well what I see every once and a while that he drops by the kitchen), but unfortunately he's been running into some difficult times and I want to help him. With all that's happened to him (losing a job after 5 years of loyalty, having an accident which disabled the use of left leg for a long period) he still smiles. It's heart breaking and very honourable. So hopefully I can maybe find him a good job through some people I know. *fingers crossed*.

Anyways I should head to bed, long weekend of doing assignments. sigh...
